Audit Log Overview

Kadeck provides an audit log to support security, operational transparency, and compliance requirements across the platform.

The audit log records relevant administrative actions, configuration changes, and selected data interactions performed in Kadeck. This enables organizations to trace who performed an action, what was changed, and where the action occurred.

Audit events are available in the Audit view, where they can be searched and filtered for investigation, review, and reporting purposes.

Access Requirements​

Access to the Audit view requires the application-scope AuditlogAccess permission.

Only users with this permission can view audit events in Kadeck.

Audit Events​

Kadeck records audit events across multiple functional areas, including user and access management, data interaction, data stream management, connection management, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, governance, documentation, and system configuration.

  • Available event details may vary depending on the feature and action performed.
